Brochure: Transgender People as a Gift to The UMC

Transgender people are beloved children of God, called to discipleship, equipped by the Holy Spirit, and gifted for ministry. They are not merely people the church is called to include. They are among the people through whom God is already renewing the church.

This brochure, Created by the United Methodist Alliance for Transgender Inclusion, offers insight into the gifts transgender people offer to the church and casts a vision for their inclusion in the church. Contact Pastor Joelle Henneman at umctransgender@gmail.com for more information on this topic.
